Our route takes us through the majestic Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N Tichka pass, which rises to 2,260 meters. This panoramic drive offers breathtaking views. With opportunities to pause for photos and interact with the Berber people who inhabit this rugged terrain.
Our first stop will be the Telouet Kasbah. An architectural marvel that once served as the residence of the influential Glaoui family. After exploring its historical and cultural significance, we’ll continue to the village of Ait Ben Haddou. Here, we’ll visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. A fortified village that has earned UNESCO World Heritage status for its well-preserved example of Moroccan earthen architecture.
From Ait Ben Haddou, we’ll proceed to Ouarzazate, a city known as the gateway to the Sahara. We’ll visit the local cinema studios, where many famous films have been shot. And view the exterior of the Kasbah Taourirt, another historical gem of the region.
Next, we’ll drive towards Skoura, renowned for its verdant palm groves. In Skoura, we’ll explore the Kasbah Ameridhil, an 18th-century fortification that reflects the traditional architecture of the area.
