Day 1: Marrakech - Ait ben haddou - Zagora

We will depart from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:00 AM. starting our tour towards Zagora in southern Morocco. Our route takes us through the High Atlas Mountains. Where we will cross the impressive Tichka Pass, which stands at an elevation of 2,260 meters. As we navigate this high mountain pass. We’ll make stops to capture the breathtaking views of rugged peaks and traditional Berber villages. Ofering ample opportunities for stunning photographs.

Our first major stop is Telouet, a village renowned for its historic Telouet Kasbah. This grand structure, once the residence of the influential Glaoui family. Showcases intricate Moroccan architecture and offers a glimpse into the region's rich history. Exploring the kasbah’s ornate rooms and courtyards will provide insights into the opulent lifestyle of its former inhabitants.

From Telouet, we travel through the picturesque Ounila Valley. A lush corridor that contrasts beautifully with the arid landscapes of the surrounding desert. This valley is dotted with traditional villages and stunning natural scenery, making it a highlight of the journey.

Ait Ben Haddou kasbah

Our next destination is the famed Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continuing our journey, we’ll traverse the beautiful desert landscapes that lead us to Zagora. As we approach our destination, the scenery transitions from lush valleys to the stark beauty of the desert. Upon arrival in Zagora, we will check into a traditional desert camp for the night.

The camp, set against the backdrop of the desert, provides an authentic experience of Moroccan hospitality. After settling in, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner prepared with traditional recipes. Allowing you to savor the flavors of the region. The evening will be spent in the tranquil surroundings of the desert, providing a serene end to the day’s travels.

Day 2: Zagora - Tazarine - Alnif - Rissani - Merzouga

After enjoying breakfast at the camp in Zagora, we begin the next stage of our journey to the Merzouga desert. We go on the next leg of our journey to the Merzouga Desert. The drive takes us through a series of captivating landscapes, starting with a visit to traditional nomadic camps. Here, you'll have the chance to meet local nomads. Gaining insight into their way of life and how they adapt to the harsh desert environment. This stop offers a unique cultural experience and an opportunity to learn about the traditions and daily routines of these resilient desert dwellers.

Continuing our journey, we travel through the picturesque palm groves of Tazarine and Alnif. Known for their lush greenery and tranquil beauty. These areas provide a stark contrast to the surrounding desert, highlighting Morocco's diverse landscapes. We also pass through Rissani, a significant town known for its historical and economic importance in the region. Rissani’s vibrant souks and traditional architecture offer a glimpse into the local culture and history.

Merzouga Desert Erg Chebbi dunes

As we approach the Merzouga Desert, the scenery shifts dramatically to the vast, golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Upon arrival, we are greeted by our camel guides. Who will assist you in mounting the camels for a thrilling ride across the dunes. This camel trek is a quintessential desert experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the serene and otherworldly landscape of the Sahara.

The trek takes you to our desert camp, strategically located amidst the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. Once at the camp, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and take in the stunning desert views. In the evening, we gather around the campfire for a traditional Moroccan dinner, prepared with local ingredients and served under the star-filled desert sky. Day 3: Merzouga - Todra - Dades gorges

Awaken early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Saharan dunes, a spectacular display of colors as the sun casts its first light on the vast expanse of Erg Chebbi. After this mesmerizing experience, enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on a camel trek back to Merzouga Village. This return journey offers another opportunity to appreciate the serene desert landscape from the back of a camel.

From Merzouga, we continue our adventure towards the Dades Valley, making our way through the varied and stunning terrain of southern Morocco. Our first significant stop is in Rissani, where we visit a bustling market known for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse array of goods. Rissani is a key commercial hub in the region, and the market is a great place to experience local culture and trade practices.

Next, we travel to Erfoud, renowned for its impressive collection of fossils. Erfoud's fossil museum provides fascinating insights into the ancient geological history of the region, showcasing beautifully preserved specimens that highlight the area's prehistoric past.

Continuing our journey, we pass through the Ksar Touroug, a traditional fortified village, en route to the Todra Oasis. The oasis is a lush, green contrast to the surrounding arid desert, and you’ll have the chance to take stunning photographs of the palm groves and serene landscape.

Todra Gorges

Our exploration of the Todra Gorges follows, where you can marvel at the dramatic cliffs that rise sharply from the valley floor. After a delicious lunch in this scenic area, we proceed to Tinghir and Boumalne Dades, where we make a brief photo stop to capture the picturesque surroundings.

Dades Gorges

Our journey culminates in the Dades Gorges, a majestic natural wonder known for its dramatic landscape and winding river. We pass through the village of Tessdrine, known for its traditional architecture and stunning scenery, before arriving at our final destination for the day. Day 4: Dades gorges - Ouaezazate - Marrakech

On the final day of your journey back to Marrakech, we start with a scenic drive through the Dades Valley, enjoying the serene beauty of the landscape. Our route takes us to Kelaat Mgouna, a town renowned for its rose products. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore local workshops and boutiques specializing in rose-based cosmetics and perfumes. The valley is known for its annual Rose Festival, celebrating the harvest of roses, and the aroma of roses fills the air, creating a delightful sensory experience.

Amridil Kasbah

From Kelaat Mgouna, we traverse the Valley of Roses, a region characterized by its blooming rose fields and picturesque scenery. We then proceed to Skoura, where we visit the historic Amridil Kasbah. This well-preserved kasbah, with its striking architecture and traditional design, offers a glimpse into the historical and cultural significance of the region. The kasbah’s ancient walls and scenic setting provide a beautiful backdrop for photographs.

Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, a city often referred to as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Here, we stop to take pictures in front of the Taourirt Kasbah, a remarkable example of Moroccan fortress architecture.
